New bus contract and GTFS data for Outer Metro region 6 from 28 July 2024

:bus: Outer Metro Bus Contracts Transition :bus:

From 27 July 2024, the operation of Busways Gosford under contract OSMBSC006 in the Central Coast will cease.

From Sunday 28 July 2024, Busways OMR6 will commence operation in this area under the following contract:

Contract Code: OMBSC006
Contract Name: Busways OMR6
Contract/Agency ID: 2606

The transition will be a one to one change over, meaning all current bus routes and their schedules, including any OnDemand and depot locations will remain the same (there may be some minor changes).

OMBSC006 GTFS-S API endpoint is now available on ODH:
https://api.transport.nsw.gov.au/v1/gtfs/schedule/buses/OMBSC006

The same data is reflected in the combined buses bundle: https://api.transport.nsw.gov.au/v1/gtfs/schedule/buses

The new contract will be available from Monday in the Complete GTFS timetable export.

Please be advised that Busways Gosford OSMBSC006 ceased operations yesterday 27 July 2024.

:tada:***Busways OMR6 OMBSC006 has successfully commenced operations and real-time is now available :tada:

In the coming days we will be updating reference files and documentation and removing operator feeds for OSMBSC006.
