On 31 October 2021 there will be a new bus operator for Sydney contract region 8.
Sydney Metro Bus Service Contract 008 operated by State Transit (agency_id 2440) is transitioning to Greater Sydney Bus Contract 008 operated by Keolis Downer Northern Beaches (agency_id 2508).
The current SMBSC008 bundle will expire on 30 Oct, and data from 31 Oct is available now via a new endpoint: https://api.transport.nsw.gov.au/v1/gtfs/schedule/buses/GSBC008
The same data is now reflected in the combined Buses bundle: https://api.transport.nsw.gov.au/v1/gtfs/schedule/buses
The new operator will also appear in tonight’s Complete GTFS export.
