Where does TripView get their train congestion data from?

I can’t see to find the information in either the vehicle location or trip update api

Hi @mattdavidson, we’re working on releasing this to the general public in the near future. At the moment it’s only available to our endorsed apps such as TripView.

It’s not quite the same as what TripView gets, but you can get vehicle-level occupancy by using the Trip Planner API:
