Is it possible to get a realtime feed of the TTDS data?

Having looked at the TTDS Historic data, it seems quite useful because it has vehicle position, speed (and speed limit for the 2016 sample).

But, it doesn’t really cover a long enough time period. What I’d really like to do is scrape a feed for Jan to Jun 2019.

As there may be a privacy concern regarding the positions of private commercial vehicles, even if there was a delayed feed that was a day or a week behind it would still be useful for gathering a decently sized sample of road travel data.

Alternatively, are there any plans to release a 2018 or 2019 sample? The more data the better…

TTDS data is available realtime User account | TfNSW Open Data Hub and Developer Portal – we will update the description and title to make it a bit more obvious.

Hello,

I have looked at roads-realtime previously.

It does not seem to be the same as the TTDS Historic data. It only contains road events, containing a head / tail location of a road event and an estimated travel time. It does not provide vehicle positional and speed data like the TTDS historical data.
