NSW GTFS data from the last 12 months

Hi

I am a project researcher for the Australian Urban Observatory, which is a platform that transforms complex urban data into easily understood liveability maps across Australia’s 21 largest cities. As part of our research, the team is currently collecting up-to-date static public transport information in General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) format from all operators.

I am writing because we would like to request tfNSW to provide us with the NSW GTFS data from the last 12 months.

Finally, I would like to invite you to visit our website https://auo.org.au/ to see more of our work. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact auo@rmit.edu.au.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Kind regards,

Juan Medina

Hi Juan,

You can find historic GTFS bundles in the following dataset: Historical GTFS bundles and timetables

There are monthly zip files for each mode/region/contract so you will need to do multiple downloads.

Regards,
Julie

here’s some other sites dealing with livability that may be of interest:

these are all focused around moving home and not research.
