New bus operator and GTFS data for region 10 from 1 July 2023

:bus: Bus Contracts Transition :bus:

From 30 June 2023, Punchbowl and Transdev bus operations in metro region 5 (SMBSC005) and 10 (SMBSC010), will cease.

From Saturday 1 July 2023, U-Go Mobility will commence operations in both these areas, which will combine to one region - metro region 10. The details are as follows:

GSBC010 GTFS-S API endpoint is now available:
https://api.transport.nsw.gov.au/v1/gtfs/schedule/buses/GSBC010

The same data is now reflected in the combined Buses bundle: https://api.transport.nsw.gov.au/v1/gtfs/schedule/buses

The new operator will appear in tonight’s Complete GTFS timetable export. And finally, the GTFS overlapping agencies reference table and supporting documentation has been updated here .

Please be advised that Punchbowl and Transdev NSW ceased operations yesterday 30 June.

U-Go Mobility GSBC010 has successfully commenced operations and real-time is now available :tada: :tada:

In the coming days we will be updating reference files and documentation and removing operator feeds for SMBSC005 & SMBSC010
