New B-Line bus service beginning Nov 26 – data in the GTFS feeds

The B-Line is a new bus service that provides frequent and reliable trips between Mona Vale and Wynyard. The B-Line uses a fleet of modern double deck buses that offer in-seat USB chargers, accessible seating and real-time on board service information. B-Line buses will use new branded B-Line bus stops at Mona Vale, Narrabeen, Warriewood, Dee Why, Brookvale, Manly Vale, Spit Junction Mosman, Neutral Bay and Wynyard. See route map and download a timetable. The B-Line is being introduced in conjunction with the new public transport timetables beginning 26 November.

You can find out more about the B-Line project and services on the following websites

As part of the new timetables we have also already introduced the new data into our data feeds, which will become effective on 26 November. Developers can use the data to test and prepare their apps for any changes needed before then. You can find the new timetable data for buses, including the B-Line services, in our GTFS and TXC feeds.

If you have any questions about the B-Line or the new data please post in this thread.

Thanks,
-The TfNSW Open Data Team
