Inner West bus services impacted due to COVID related staff shortage

Bus services will be impacted this week in the Inner West due to COVID-related staff shortages.Two Leichhardt Depot staff advised Transit Systems they had tested positive to COVID-19.
Due to this, bus services from 11 August will be affected as the majority of Depot staff including
drivers have been deemed as casual contacts by NSW Health and are isolating until they receive the results of their COVID-19 test.
As a result of this, a significant number of bus services in the Inner West have been cancelled and will not be operating tomorrow and Friday.
This will impact customers travelling on following bus routes:

We have created 5 temporary shuttle routes T431, T438, T470, T442, T437 these route will be shuttle services that will operate on the main corridors and link to connecting service. These routes will be in the GTFS all feed in the export tonight and also in the export for tomorrow. The shuttle timetable are like a trackwork timetable indicative times only and customers are advised to allow extra time and use alternative transport options if possible. We are going to apply service alert messaging to the routes first thing in the morning.

These routes will move into GTFS agency_ID “BRB” in tonights 8pm export. Reference table has been updated here. Services will operate until Monday when they are to resume normal service.
