Hi All,

Please be advised that there is a planned network outage at all Park&Ride car parks from 11pm Wed 26 Jun to 2am Thu 27 Jun 2024 due to system upgrades.

System checks will be conducted shortly after to ensure data is being received correctly.

There are currently outages for Warwick Farm and Seven Hills Park&Ride car parks. No ETA on when they’re back but the team is investigating.

Seven Hills back but Warwick Farm is still out and will take a little longer to sort.

There is a real-time outage for the following car parks:

  • Gordon
  • Kiama
  • Gosford
  • Warriewood
  • Mona Vale
  • Sutherland East Parade
  • St Marys

The Park&Ride team are currently investigating.

I get many questions from customers about how park and ride work for events like city2surf and other events where transportation is provided without tapping the opal card? Is this information published anywhere so we can share it with those who ask?

Yes, you can point customers to the Park&Ride page on transportnsw.info, here:

Specifically, under the Helpful Information section, where they talk about event ticketing:

• If you don’t use Transport Connect to access Transport Park&Ride and you have a valid integrated event ticket, use the intercom at the exit gate and show your event ticket to the car park operator who can manually open the gate. If you use your Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park. However, you will need to raise a Help request in your Transport Connect account and provide details of the event ticket, otherwise you may be charged for parking.

Due to free rail travel this weekend, boom gates at Park&Ride car parks will be kept open to ensure customers are not disadvantaged.

The car park gates will be open from this evening, Fri 20 Sept and will be placed back down Monday morning 23 Sept 2024.

Please be advised that the rooftop level is currently closed at Revesby Park&Ride car park due to an incident over the weekend.

This has reduced the capacity of the car park by 70 bays to a total of 864. I will advise once the rooftop is open again, no indication of when at this stage.
