Hello, I am very new to this forum and GTFS data. I am currently doing research about the bus delay in Sydney in 2017. I already have developed python code to deal with GTFS timetable data but I cannot find the similar .zip download link for GTFS realtime. Which dataset should I use? I simply need the actual arrival/departure time at each bus stop so that I can compare with the scheduled GTFS.

There’s no historical GTFS-realtime available on the Open Data hub. However, based on what you’re after, there has been historical arrival and departure times (as well as vehicle occupancy) data published for a select number of weeks: Bus Occupancy - Aug 2016 to Jan 2017 | TfNSW Open Data Hub and Developer Portal
You might be able to ask the Open Data team to see if more recent datasets are available for publishing.
I (AnyTrip) also provide historical real-time data extracts to clients at a cost as part of our data services offering.
