Realtime alerts at either the stop, trip, or service line level in GTFS-realtime format for Bus, Train, Ferry, Light Rail, Metro and Coaches.

We have a new v2 alerts available. Please remember to add “Public Transport - Realtime - Alerts - v2” to your Open Data Application before calling the following endpoints:

The existing v1 feeds will be available until 30 June 2022, after which all users will need to use v2.

Note that alerts/trackwork endpoint will be decommissioned. Trackwork alerts can be filtered using “Cause: Maintenance” and “Effect: Modified service”.

Some stop level alerts will be tagged against parent stops with number formats “G2xxxxxx”. These stops are available in the Complete GTFS bundle: https://opendata.transport.nsw.gov.au/dataset/timetables-complete-gtfs
