Additional endpoints have been added to the Live Traffic NSW Data Feed.
In addition to the existing alerts for state roads, real time traffic information is now available for local roads in 22 regional Local Government Areas (LGAs).
The initial 22 LGAs were chosen in consultation with the NSW Police, RFS and SES. LGAs will continue to come onboard in stages, with the priority given to the regional councils who have been impacted most by bushfires and floods.
By 2024 all councils in NSW will be included, expanding the reach of Live Traffic NSW to every road in the state.
