:bicycle: Bike Parking Dataset Update :bicycle:

The Bike Parking dataset has been updated with the latest information on bike sheds and lockers across NSW.

This dataset provides:

  • Location details, including latitude and longitude

  • Capacity and quantity of bike sheds and lockers

  • Asset IDs for each facility

Bike sheds are enclosed shared shelters that offer free, weather-protected storage for bicycles, typically accommodating between 12 and 55 bikes. Access is available by linking an Opal card, with spaces allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bike lockers are individual, secure storage units designed to protect bicycles and associated equipment from weather, theft, and vandalism. There are over 830 lockers available across 110 locations, with flexible rental options.
