During the upcoming new year’s eve and new year’s day Sydney Trains carriage load prediction will be turned off as we have done in previous years.
This is required as the prediction model continues to collect patronage data for special event days – hence may not be accurate if left on.
The waratah actual carriage load will continue to be available through the GTFS-R VP feed.
Dates for implementation are as follows:
- 31 December 2023 switch carriage load prediction to waratah actuals
- 02 January 2024 switch waratah actual carriage load back to carriage load prediction
Implementation will be from 00:00 on the start each day and will likely take up to 30 minutes to take effect.
