Scheduled bus VehicleID to run each Trip

Hi there,

I’m trying to track the historical trips taken by each individual bus during the day (to model energy consumption per bus).

Is there an easy way to find which bus vehicle ID is scheduled to run each trip ID during the day?

Or will it be necessary to combine the GTFS (for the schedule) with the Public Transport - Realtime Vehicle Positions datasets (tripID per vehicle ID)?

Any other thoughts?

Hi @z3375940, unfortunately we don’t include the vehicle ID in the feeds anymore due to security and privacy reasons. However, you might be able to work it out by linking trips together using the performing_prior_trip attribute.
