TfNSW would stand to achieve significant savings in infrastructure project cost and reduce in delays related to unforeseen ground conditions by sharing geotechnical data held by TfNSW (boreholes, investigation reports) under a Creative Commons license.
I have set up a demonstration platform to facilitate this: ([ArcGIS Web Application])
The business model would be a modestly priced pay-per-download basis.
Is there any interest in TfNSW or elsewhere to explore this compelling business case ?
