Data is the average of a three day sample, representing 'a typical day' of customer entries and exits at each train station.

I noticed the absence of two railway stations in the 2018 datsaet. The absence of Wickham station makes sense due to it’s closure however may I enquire into the reason to why Zig Zag was left out. From what I gather the station is still open and accessible. Any information would be great, thanks!

Hi @redpiano321. Zig Zag station does not show any data for 2018. The reason is that Zig Zag station has very low daily usage and as mentioned in the Read Me of the dataset, the data is based on a three day average taken between 22 May and 24 May 2018. On those dates there were no recorded Entries and Exits at Zig Zag station and therefore no data is shown.

Hi there, just wondering if the train station entries and exits data (using average of a three day sample methodology) is being continued, or has it been replaced with the monthly data? As far as I can tell it hasn’t been updated since 2020, whereas the monthly data is current as of April. Any further information would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi @jo-stewart,
yes, monthly data is how we receive train station entries and exits data since 2020.
