This dataset includes six pop up cycleways in key commuter areas across the city to promote walking and cycling. The pop up cycleways is part of a set of initiatives developed across the Sydney region to provide people more options to safely walk, cycle and commute to work in 2020.

Two of the pop up cycleways are open as of today.  
Henderson Rd, Erskineville opened today 8th July 2020 at 8am  
Sydney Park Road, Erskineville [opened on the weekend 3rd July 2020](https://transportnsw.info/news/2020/sydneys-first-pop-up-cycleway-now-open)

Two pop up cycleways, Inner West and Randwick will be open on Monday 01 March 2021. The dataset has been updated to capture the new pop up cycleways.
