Hello,
Please find the steps below to find the stop id/names for a bus number. Please download the complete GTFS pack from [Public Transport - Timetables - For Realtime - Dataset - TfNSW Open Data Hub and Developer Portal](https://opendata.transport.nsw.gov.au/data/dataset/public-transport-timetables-realtime)

**Step 1:**
Get the route number from routes.txt
Sample
route\_id,agency\_id,route\_short\_name,route\_long\_name,route\_desc,route\_type,route\_color,route\_text\_color
“2459\_303”,“2459”,“303”,“Sans Souci to Prince of Wales Hospital”,“Sydney Buses Network”,“700”,“00B5EF”,“FFFFFF”

**Step 2:**
Get the corresponding trips from Trips.txt

route\_id service\_id trip\_id shape\_id trip\_headsign direction\_id block\_id wheelchair\_accessible trip\_note route\_direction
2459\_303 1 2283121 154280 Prince of Wales Hospital, Barker St 1 1 Sans Souci to Prince of Wales Hospital

**Step 3:**
Now you can get the stop\_id and other details from stop\_times.txt - Please fetch stop information in stops.txt (example “221922”,“Wellington St before Rocky Point Rd”,“-34.000798”,“151.126099”,“”,“”,“1”,“”)

Stop\_times.txt
trip\_id,arrival\_time,departure\_time,stop\_id,stop\_sequence,stop\_headsign,pickup\_type,drop\_off\_type,shape\_dist\_traveled,timepoint,stop\_note
2283121",“16:04:00”,“16:04:00”,“221922”,“1”,“”,“0”,“0”,“0”,“1”,“”

Let me know if you need more information. More information on GTFS files available at [Documentation | Transport Open Data](https://opendata.transport.nsw.gov.au/developers/documentation)

Hi,

I’ve built a few free-to-use GTFS tools, one being a GTFS timetable viewer that allows you to view timetables with stop names for each route, route variant and trip.

You can check it out here - [Busable | Bus Management Software for Schools & Transport Operators | Australia](https://busable.app/resources/gtfs-route-timetables)
